This child obviously knows the difference and recognizes that mommies usually are built quite different than daddies. Poor little girl. Is the Backlash to Universities Becoming Real? “in May of last year, DeSantis signed a bill banning DEI across the state system. By January, the board of regents voted to implement that law. DeSantis was first, but since his DEI ban, eight other governors have signed similar bills. While the culture war has been part of American life since the 1960s, the past few years have been a turning point, with Republican politicians finally becoming willing to rein in university administrators.” While this didn’t start with those who are the current administration and professors at universities it did start with them, many years ago. Those who are in charge are the students of the 60’s and 70’s, and the current students have been brainwashed every year since pre school on up. It is going to be hard to change that. However, I do believe there is a population out here who did not go to college, or at least not to the big ones, a population who is still of the old fashioned America that believed in God, family, country, in more or less that order. Those who work for a living and understand the economics of what rent and housing costs are, who understand the prices at the grocery store mean they either don’t have meat or have the cheaper cuts when they do. I hope and pray that in the end they will be the ones to prevail.
